Anastasia Maria Gouvi
is an emerging painter who has recently embarked on her artistic journey after completing her five-year studies at the School of Fine Arts in Florina. Her work focuses on capturing everyday experiences and thoughts through color, form, and pattern. Her painting represents a continuous exploration of memory, identity, and human transformation.In her works, she employs materials such as iconography powders, ink, pens, and acrylics, which she transforms into contemporary visual narratives.Through strong color contrasts and the use of symbols, she builds bridges between past and present, invitingthe viewer into a personal and collective dialogue.She experiments with layers of color, transparencies, and recurring motifs, shaping compositions that balance between abstraction andnarration. Through her images, she seeks to translate the intangible, memory, dream, transformation, into visual language. Painting, for her, is an open process of reflection and personal revelation, where each work functions as a fragment of a broader inner narrative.
